An experimental audio collaboration, between the fashion label kimberit and the author Andreas L. Hofbauer : a sound only fashion show.
After an original idea of kimberit, the artist will present a dress of her collection “Z-wie-Licht I 2 ½ D” (Z as light I 2 ½ D) by it’s oral description only, written by Andreas L. Hofbauer.
The haute couture collection explores a visual ambiguity, when at twilight, the light tends to fool our senses and makes the volumes disappear. Bringing further this affection of the senses and playing the game of experiment, the Lesung eines Kleides allows the visitor to experience a dress without seeing it. The apparel will take shape in the listener’s imagination, opening to a specific experience, beyond vision and touch.

Eine Schnittzeichnung ist eine Partitur, bei der Lesen hören heißt.
Wenn du aufhörst zu sehen, wirst du umso besser begreifen.
Wenn du aufhörst zu verstehen, wirst du umso geschickter berührt werden.
Aber wenn du partout sehen willst, dann schau’ im Zwielicht.
